For all those who have problems with a Bavarian authority, there is a central online address: The Ombudsman, the advisory office of the Bavarian state government that takes care of citizens’ concerns. When designing the online presence, it was particularly important to the office to be able to easily maintain the website itself via WordPress. The data is not hosted on a “normal” web server, but in the data center of the Bavarian state government. In addition, the website is barrier-free and contains a read-aloud function (Readspeaker), with which the contents of the page can be read aloud.
